The Asiatic Fleet Reunion was in AUGUST in Washington, DC.
Asiatic Fleet members and NEXT GENERATIONS are encouraged to join this site for ease of sharing information and posting history of the fleet for the group to enjoy.

NEXT GENERATIONS ! Please help your elders to take a user name with a password you know and with THEIR E-mail ! When things are added to the site - they will be notified in their email and they can see all current news HERE. It should be quite helpful.

There are OTHER sites on the web with Asiatic Fleet information. If you know of one not already listed under the "links" page (and below) - you can become an approved editor for these pages and add more links - more pictures - more information.

THe NEXT generations are encouraged to step up to the plate - explore how to use this wiki - and get involved! The veterans and the families will thank you!

As of September 2009 - the website is only beginning to serve the fleet.
It will do its job best if it becomes a TEAM effort.

This site is being developed as a tool for all Asiatic Fleet Veterans and Friends to use for better communications. Feel free to request membership in the site with the link in the upper right corner. Wetpaint acts like a "wiki" which means that approved members of the site can actually add information and edit pages.

me3tv US ASIATIC FLEET web site close down? 0 May 30 2011, 9:39 AM EDT by me3tv

There has been nearly zero activity with this site since it was started. Perhaps there is a more useful place to compile asiatic fleet information. Members of the site appear to have no interest in maintaining it. The URL "usasiaticfleet.org" which redirects to this page will be allowed to expire in June 2011 - unless several members choose to become active and maintain the website for the benefit of the veterans and their families. I can be reached directly at vic@buzzcreek.com. Thanks.
